Who We Are

GroundInk was founded with a simple belief: the most important stories in India are often the ones that don't make it to mainstream media. Stories from villages, small towns, and city neighbourhoods. Stories of ordinary people fighting extraordinary injustice.

We are a platform — not a newsroom. We partner with independent video journalists and content creators across India, helping them turn their ground-level investigations into permanent, written records that the internet can find, share, and act on.

• No advertisers: GroundInk does not accept advertising. Our loyalty is to our readers and our creators — not to commercial interests.

We are not a fact-checking organisation. We are not affiliated with any political party, government body, or corporate group. We do not speak for any community, religion, caste, or region over another.

Our Creators

GroundInk works with independent video journalists who are already doing the hard work — filming, investigating, and publishing on YouTube and Instagram. We help them reach a wider audience through well-written, searchable articles that live permanently on the web.

Every article on GroundInk carries the full byline of the journalist who reported it. Their work, their credit.
